I mean, early numbers are coming out for AMD's Zen, and their new GPUs… but everything so far suggests they'll be on the level or weaker than top end offerings from Intel and Nvidia currently. There's always something right around the corner, it's just the nature of the tech world. Really depends on your budget, goals, and what your current machine isn't doing well enough for you.
