Currently have a 2016 1500, but its not working for what I use my truck for so I am looking at used 2500's.
Currently I am looking at a 2010 Ram 2500 - SLT with just about every option they had except for backup camera and bluetooth. 5.7 Hemi, 3.73LSD rear end. The truck has air lift airbags in the back, manual schraeder valves installed to the right of the plate.
The thing that worries me, is that this truck clearly had a 5th wheel installed in the bed. Either the dealer or previous owner spent the money to have things welded back shut and then line-x'd over the entire bed. Had to get under just the right lighting to see it, but its obvious.
The hemi is plenty of power for what I need. I haul in the bed a lot, not much towing, at least of anything with any amount of weight.
5th wheel on a hemi 2500 seems a bit odd to me. Its only grossed for 10,600 lbs including the truck so it seems strange to me that someone would take the time to add bags and a 5th wheel to someone like this. It is raising flags in my mind, especially given the coverup. Service records don't show it being serviced under the severe service interval either.
