the new reward system is very much a step in the wrong direction…the reward value promotes individual play, removes self-sacrifice for the team, and doesnt take into account in any meaningful way team contribution…
basically u get rewarded for damage…if u do nothing else but damage u can out preform any other player whether u win or lose the map (and speaking directly towards glops but it applies to all forms)…gone is base capping being a meaningful method of generating end of match rep…the reward for capping, spotting, immobilizing enemy tanks-basically anything that matters toward a team effort is either gone or minimal
this new system is just plain broken…it doesnt bring the community and the game together it just rewards the exact wrong kind of game mechanics that result in loses in glops and general bad feeling all around…there is no incentive to put urself out there, take damage for a teammate, cap an objective hell it doesnt reward anything but sitting perfectly still and sniping…
