Maximus IX Hero cant get CPU Fan to run.
Hello All, Im pretty new to building computers this is my first build I was hoping someone here could help me. Everything seems to be running smoothly but for some reason as the title states i cannot get the CPU fan to start running. I Have the Maximus IX Hero, NZXT S340 Case, i7 7700k and Asus ROG 1080ti GPU, Hyper 212 EVO cooler.
The CPU fan runs when i give it a hand start, ie, a little nudge.
but after its switched off for a while, it doesnt run. needing a nudge again. could the problem be with the fan or the motherboard

Please help…
